An Advanced Health and Social Care Apprentice; she began working towards her framework in March 2006 although she did not begin to attend college until September of 2006. J had an expected end date of March 2008. The Advanced apprentice framework consists of The Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care, The level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care, Key Skills Application of Number at level 2 and Key Skills Communication at level 2. J completed her key skills (test and portfolio) in July 2007, her technical certificate in July 2007 and her NVQ in October 2007 which gave her full-framework 5 months ahead of schedule.Whilst undertaking this framework J was a full-time Care Assistant and key worker at a dual registered nursing home for the Elderly in Devon. J showed clear dedication, she appeared to enjoy challenges and set high standards and targets for herself. J always produced assessed work of excellent quality, she showed attention to detail and was a strong independent learner; carrying out in depth research where required. J did, throughout the program, continue to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, she was an effective listener participating well during discussions and group work. She began her studies for the Diploma in Nursing at the University of Plymouth in September 2008.
